Industrial Rock Music Crosses Over to Addiction Help In a GOOD way

Industrial rock music has nearly always been darker, more negative, but that is beginning to change. There is this really sick recovery music I stumbled across by Matt Soren the other day that has a fresh perspective on industrial rock music. His new album is a mix of recovery music and the process of knocking out addiction.

There are some song previews on his website at www.returnfrombroken.com. It looks like the mixes are raw versions while finishing official tracks. They sound professional to me but I am no audiophile. It is cool to see more electro-rock like this written particularly for addiction recovery in a more enjoyable way from a person that has been there and is making an impact for others in addiction. Plus It’s nice to have this type of music coming from the industrial genre which is almost always more negative in nature. Got to love that!

By the way, he has free songs you can get from his url and more in his insiders area which is free. I also saw discount passes, album art, and other things it looks like he’ll be adding. It will be nice to get the album once it is finished. Thanks for listening to me ramble, hope you enjoyed it!
