How fortunate that you are now an expectant mother! As exciting as the thought of bringing your bundle of joy home is, remember it is essential to take time to prepare for your new journey. This may all seem overwhelming, but take heart: you have nine whole months to get ready for welcoming your new baby. A bed is at the top of the list as far as important things for a new baby are concerned.

Cribs and bassinets are important parts of your nursery, but be sure you remember about crib bedding. Having your baby sleep on a cold plastic mattress isn’t the best solution for your child. These tend not to enhance the baby’s comfort which will lead to sleepless nights for both of you. Prior to the baby returning home, you would desire getting some great sets of baby bedding (at least two, so that you could clean one set when the other is in use). This would be a wonderful addition to the baby bedding. A crib skirt can also be added to make the ensemble look prettier. Crib skirts are not essential items, but they are included in most baby bedding sets and can make your baby’s room cheerier and more inviting.
